Paul has much experience in supporting students in mainstream (primary & secondary), special and independent schools. Paul also mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students through contracts with universities. Paul also sees adults and specialises in the treatment of psychological trauma. He has found both Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy & Brainspotting (a new and interesting offshoot of the former) to be particularly effective in the treatment of trauma, as well as in the treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, phobia, and a growing list of other symptoms and "disorders". These therapies are effective treatments for both adults and children. Paul is Accredited in counselling & psychotherapy and separately, in EMDR for both Adults and Children. Not many other EMDR therapists are. Accreditation schemes aim to recognise the achievement of high standards of knowledge, experience and development in counselling and psychotherapeutic treatment. Accreditations can be used to help clients, employers, practitioners and students to make an informed decision when choosing a therapist, service or training course.
Paul has been in private practice since 2009 and is now a director at Paul Gregory Associates Ltd, where he currently devotes most of his therapeutic time. GPs, psychiatrists, healthcare providers and all local County Councils refer in to him. Paul specializes in the treatment of Looked After children, Care Leavers and Young Mothers. Paul is resident psychotherapist for a group of children's homes where he offers attachment-focused child trauma therapy and regular consultation to staff and management. Paul also lectures and delivers trainings and workshops to private and charity-funded health organisations concerned with therapy or the mental health of children and young people. Paul is undertaking Doctoral research in London (deferred). His area of interest is therapist-client attunement in the therapeutic relationship. Paul delivers the initial assessments for PGA Ltd and many of the therapeutic interventions. He will also case-manage other interventions where appropriate.

She provides a warm, safe therapeutic space where children can explore difficulties that are either unconscious or conscious. In creative therapy children will receive emotional support in a non-direct way, it allows them an opportunity to project their feelings through symbolic play or art. She attunes empathically with children which helps them feel safe, contained and truly free to express themselves. At the heart of Anna's practice is a commitment to providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can feel able to explore your difficulties in depth and where you can begin to increase your self-understanding in order to promote change. She will work collaboratively with you to ascertain which way of working suits your current needs (December 2016).
